BIO:Born in Chicago in 1948 Ben had early exposure to Folk Music and Blues. He started listening to rock n roll in 1955. Ben moved to Sacramento in 1958 and was exposed to Country music at that time. His mom had a Martin guitar and gave guitar classes at home. Ben started playing guitar in surf bands in 1963, since that time Ben has never taken a break from playing live music.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ben attended Oscar Robinson's Oak Park Conservatory in Sacramento. He studied theory, composition and groovology from 1971-72. He has worked professionally as a guitarist for over 40 years including every genre of music, show bands, arranger, bandleader, and studio musician. MUSICAL STYLES & SPECIALTIES: Blues, R&B, Funk, 50's, 60's, 70's. 80's & 90's Rock, Swing, Jazz, Country, Western Swing and Surf.
