| Harold Birdsall Bio: Harold began studying the guitar at an early age in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, where he attended El Camino College and received an Associate of Arts Degree in Music. He studied classical guitar privately with Thomas Gaab, a master teacher under Pepe Romero at USC, and was accepted into the Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance program at Cal State Northridge, where he also studied voice and conducting.
Harold has taught beginning and intermediate guitar to students of all ages, with an emphasis on a strong fundamental understanding of proper right and left hand development, music theory, reading skills, performance, and the enjoyment of playing and sharing music with others.
In addition to the classical repertoire, his interests include contemporary folk music, Celtic music and all traditional musical cultures.
