Matt Pinder
Bio: Matt has been playing guitar since the age of ten. He is the Bassist in The Kevin Russell Project and The Pinder Brothers. Matt released his first professional recording in 1994. He attended Sonoma State University as a Music Major. Matt's band "The Pinder Brothers" were awarded "Best Local Band" in the 2007 KCRA Sacramento A-List competition. Matt was also a finalist in the LA Music Awards in 2006.
Matt teaches electric bass, upright bass, acoustic and electric guitar. The genres he specializes in include; rock, folk, blues, country, pop and jazz.
Matt teaches both acoustic and electric guitar and customizes the lessons according to each student's level and interests.
Matt's approach to teaching is to provide students with the musical skills and fundamentals necessary to perform the music style of his or her choosing. He teaches the principles and underlying concepts of music theory."
