| Paul Lucia
Bio: Paul has been teaching guitar and bass in the greater Roseville area for 9 years. The son of a classical violinist, Paul has been playing and performing music in the Sacramento area since the age of 5, when he studied piano. Paul's instruction method covers all aspects of music including a heavy emphasis on music theory and notation (reading music), ear training, chord and neck vocabulary, as well as live performance, jazz studies, improvization, and songwriting. He uses a proven teaching curriculum that integrates students of all age and skill level and supports playing in groups. Paul is the director of the Roseville Guitar Works Jazz Band, a group combining guitar and bass students from RGW with drum students from One-Eleven Studios and Music School. Paul studied English at Sacramento State University with a minor in Film Studies and is a video enthusiast and "Independent" filmmaker. The proud father of three sons. Paul is a loyal community volunteer who coaches Little League and directs the Glee club at his kids' school.
